My humble call into the Lord's service was 2008 in pulpit supply, then as pastor of First Baptist Church of Harold, then pastor of Rocky Head Baptist Church, and now at New Bethel Baptist Church is to draw from God's Holy Word, verse by verse, word for word, and deliver to yearning hearts the pure rich eternal breath of God that sustains life. My call is to deliver the whole counsel of God to the whole family of God.
I am a published author of two Christian based books: "2012 Global Warning" and "The Sword and Shield, Today's Christian Crusader" My deep study into God's Word immersed my spirit into this work and greatly inspired my closer walk with the Lord. THAT was my blessing!
I am an expository preacher, meaning I speak the "whole counsel of God" to the whole body for everybody! (Acts 20:27) I will use the NKJV, KJV, NAS, HCSB and references from other translations as comparison. I teach the theology of Jesus Christ and His plan for Salvation AND Sanctification for His saints.

Jay New Bethel Baptist Church is a New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ, an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in faith and fellowship of the gospel. We observe the two ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. Enter into His Sanctuary with His people for worship without judgment of your outward appearance. In this congregation each member is responsible and accountable to Christ as Lord of His church.
The New Testament speaks also of the church as the Body of Christ which includes all of the redeemed of all the ages, believers from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation.
Our Sunday Worship is intentionally geared for encountering Jesus personally and corporately through sound Biblical teaching and corporate worship. We believe in "real life together" and would love for you to join us as we gather together Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings.
